After years of waiting, CD Projekt finally offers more details on the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077. We shared our impressions of playing the game last week, and you can explore the written accounts of our full game, as well as our biggest takeouts. But there’s a lot more to discover on this massive new RPG, and we’ve put together everything we could learn from the cover of this month’s explosion.
We talked to the developers about the game creation process and found out what the game is made for. We also interviewed the creator of the franchise Mike Pondsmith on the origins of the table game Cyberpunk and what sets this sci-fi world apart from the rest. Cyberpunk 2077 is such a great game with such a long storyline that two of our writers – Kimberley Wallace and Matt Miller – worked together to co-write the article, bringing their distinct insights from several distinct parts of the early hours. Game.
In addition to all the information we have collected, our cover includes new exclusive screenshots and illustrations spread across 14 pages of the issue, as well as a special surprise for print magazine readers when they receive their copies in the next days. This is one of our biggest stories this year about one of the games we are most passionate about, so don’t miss it.
This issue also includes a preview of other cyberpunk-themed games you can play while waiting for Cyberpunk 2077, as well as in-depth analyzes of Paper Mario: The Origami King and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 (with an interview with Tony Hawk himself).
Now that the PlayStation 5 has been revealed, we are devoting 10 pages to the next console and giving you an overview of all the games that have been announced to date. We complete this issue with a funny interview with Yoko Taro, the creator of Nier who is not afraid to say what he thinks.
Print subscribers can expect their problems to start arriving in the coming weeks. The digital edition of this issue will be launched later today for PC / Mac, iOS, and google play. You can also get the latest issue via third-party apps on Corner and Light up later this week. To switch your paper subscription to digital, click here or to create a new subscription, click here.
